Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of Cordon for MCP (the “Service”), operated by Elephant Tortoise LLC (“we”, “us”), a Texas limited liability company. By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

The Service

Cordon for MCP consists of:

• An open-source CLI and SDK published on npm under @getcordon/*, MIT-licensed (source: github.com/marras0914/cordon)
• A hosted dashboard at app.getcordon.com that stores your audit logs and approval state

The CLI is free and open source under the MIT License. The hosted dashboard is currently provided free of charge.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for unlawful purposes
• Attempt to disrupt, attack, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the hosted infrastructure
• Use the Service to abuse, attack, or compromise other systems

License

The Cordon CLI and SDK are licensed under the MIT License (see the LICENSE file in the repository). The hosted dashboard is provided to you as a free service under these Terms; we grant you a non-exclusive, revocable license to use it for its intended purpose.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided “AS IS” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

Cordon is designed to add a security layer to MCP tool calls, but it does not guarantee that all attacks will be prevented. Effective security depends on correct policy configuration, the security of underlying MCP servers, the integrity of the host environment, and many factors outside our control. You remain responsible for the security of your systems and the data those systems handle.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event will Elephant Tortoise LLC be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service.

Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. You can request deletion of your account and associated data by emailing support@getcordon.com.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, abuse the Service, or threaten the safety of other users.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent change. Material changes will be announced on getcordon.com or via email to registered users.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict of laws principles.
